Chase Claypool was in attendance for his hometown Vancouver Canucks on Thursday evening as they took on the Calgary Flames.
The Canucks recognized Claypool announcing him as “Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, Abbotsford’s own Chase Claypool.”
Abbotsford is about an hour and a half southeast of Vancouver.
With the Canucks up 7-0 at the time, the in-game host gave Claypool the microphone saying “seven nothing is a touchdown score and I just want to say the Calgary Flames suck so bad.”
The Canucks would go on to win 7-1.
