Could Canada's job be on the line if another blowout happens?

Aditi Kinkhabwala joined Andrew Fillipponi and Chris Mueller on 93.7 The Fan on Wednesday afternoon to talk Steelers football.

There has been heat on the offense and specifically offensive coordinator, Matt Canada, all season after the team has put out countless poor performances.

They got into by talking about the Mitch Trubisky situation, who lost his starting job to rookie Kenny Pickett in week 5, saying Mitch's performance was timid and lacking confidence possibly because of a short leash and low confidence from Canada.

Aditi also referenced the Baltimore Ravens organization as being a similar construct to how the Steelers operate, citing their Super Bowl championship run they made after changing offensive coordinators midseason, in December.

She went on to explain, though a playoff like the Ravens had, that there's really no point in sticking with Canada just for the sake of sticking with him because we're already about halfway through the season. This year is still important for the growth and development of Kenny Pickett at this point.

Poni asked the big question in regard to the upcoming game against the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles, that if they get blown out and score 10 points or less, would the team fire Canada given they have a bye week following and time to adjust.

Aditi responded "Yes. This is not your grandfathers Steelers." The bomb drop meaning times are changing and it's time to adapt.

Though she denies the 100% conformation of the firing, it almost certainly must be a thought already going through the organization.
