PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Steelers will open up the season at home for the first time in nearly a decade and also play a prime-time game against the Browns in Week 2. Steelers play four prime-time games as of now, three are at home. Here is a look at the 2023 Steelers schedule.
Week 1-Sunday, September 10-San Francisco, 1p, FOX
· 1st time opening at home since 2014 and in the first game finding out what Brock Purdy is after a magical run for the seventh round rookie at the end of 2022
Week 2-Monday, September 18-Cleveland, 8:15p, ABC
· Hosting the Browns in Week 18 of last year, this time an early game with the Browns at home and on prime-time. It's the only scheduled Monday Night Game.
Week 3-Sunday, September 24-at Las Vegas, 8:20p, NBC
· How much black and gold will be spotted in Las Vegas on this Sunday night
Week 4-Sunday, October 1-at Houston, 1p, KDKA
· The first of the rookie quarterbacks, how far along will CJ Stroud be when he sees TJ Watt for the first time.
Week 5-Sunday, October 8-Baltimore, 1p, KDKA
· Last year had to wait until Week 14 to play the Ravens for the first time, will Lamar Jackson still be healthy

Week 7-Sunday, October 22-at LA Rams, 4:05p, FOX
· Will this be the last time the Steelers face Aaron Donald as the Rams come off a five-win season
Week 8-Sunday, October 29-Jacksonville, 1p, KDKA
· Trevor Lawrence's first trip to Pittsburgh after the Jags surprise season in 2022
Week 9-Thursday, November 2-Tennessee, 8:15p, PRIME VIDEO
· Who will be the Titans QB by the time November comes around, maybe the most physical non-division matchup. Steelers have eight home Thursday night wins.
Week 10-Sunday, November 12-Green Bay, 1p, KDKA
· Jordan Love gets the opportunity of a couple of months under his belt before the Packers come to Pittsburgh. Will Mike Tomlin wink at him too?
Week 11-Sunday, November 19-at Cleveland, 1p, KDKA
· First division road game is way late in the season and the Steelers are done with the Browns before Thanksgiving
Week 12-Sunday, November 26-at Cincinnati, 1p, KDKA
· Like the Ravens last year, the Steelers wait until after Thanksgiving for a first shot at Cincinnati in 2023.
It's a huge travel weekend, leave early Steelers fans.
Week 13-Sunday, December 3-Arizona, 1p, KDKA
· What will the Cardinals be by Week 13, as James Conner returns to play as a visitor for the first time at Acrisure Stadium.
Week 14-Thursday, December 7-New England, 8:15p, PRIME VIDEO
· Will there be a video tribute for Bill Belichick for allowing the Steelers to get Broderick Jones in the first round? Steelers are 1-7 in last 8 vs. NE
Week 15-TBD-at Indianapolis, TBA, TBA
· The second rookie quarterback will be on a floating schedule the weekend before Christmas and playing in a dome
Week 16-Saturday, December 23, Cincinnati, 4:30p, NBC
· After playing Christmas Eve into Christmas last season, Steelers get a late afternoon on the 23rd with the final game against the Bengals
Week 17-Sunday, December 31, at Seattle, 4:05p, FOX
· New Years' Eve in Washington and only the second game in Seattle since 2003
Week 18-TBA, at Baltimore, TBA
· Another final road game at the Ravens, a third straight year of playing Baltimore in January
Steelers also announced their preseason schedule with the only home game on Saturday, August 19 against the Bills. It's a Saturday night on KDKA.
Steelers will open at Tampa Bay-where Pitt Panthers Calijah Kancey and SirVocea Dennis were drafted. They will NOT close with Carolina, playing instead at Atlanta on a date yet to be announced.
