It’s well known by now that Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is retiring after the season ends and his next stop will be in the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio in five years.

But what about another long-time member of the organization? General Manager Kevin Colbert will reportedly also retire at the end of the season
Audacy Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora tells the Fan Morning Show that Colbert hasn’t told anyone in the Steelers organization that he intends to retire, but with going year-to-year that doesn’t mean that he won’t retire.
If Colbert does retire along with Roethlisberger, La Canfora believes that he’ll join Ben in Canton.
In addition to being a genuinely good person and deflecting any praise that he deserves (something uncommon in the NFL) La Canfora says that Colbert has a Hall of Fame resume.
“Being part of coaching searching and building a roster that going on 20 years without having a losing season, I mean, come on!” said La Canfora. “It’s pretty phenomenal and you don’t hear as much about him nationally because unlike a lot of guys in this business he’s not seeking the spotlight in any way, shape or form.”
