PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – First round of the NFL Draft on Thursday and there has been a definite change among draft experts as to where the Steelers will select at pick 24.
Early on it was all about offensive line with an expert or two picking Clemson running back Travis Etienne and one prominent network saying the Steelers would select Florida QB Kyle Trask in the first round. Another early name you would see to the Steelers in the first round has fallen, Notre Dame tackle Liam Eichenberg.
The hot name right now is Alabama running back Najee Harris. While some will say first round is not a running back position in today's game. Harris ran for 1,466 yards (5.6 per carry), caught another 43 passes for 425 yards and combined for 30 touchdowns in 2020. Harris is also 6'2", 230 pounds.
