PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Not practicing on Wednesday, receiver George Pickens was upgraded to limited at Steelers practice on Thanksgiving.
Pickens is dealing with a shin injury having played every game of his two-year NFL career so far. Pickens has 37 receptions for 604 yards and three touchdowns. Over the last four weeks, 10 catches for 104 yards combined.
Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick continues to miss practice with his hamstring injury suffered late last month against Jacksonville. While there was early optimism, there is only one practice left before the Cincinnati game and he hasn't done anything.
Linebacker Nick Herbig remained limited with a hamstring. Corner James Pierre also limited with a shoulder injury suffered on Wednesday. Defensive lineman Montravius Adams is still working his way back from his ankle injury. He was limited for a second consecutive practice. Cam Heyward was also limited with a groin injury after having a veteran's day off on Wednesday.
