Are the Steelers running out of patience on waiting for an answer from quarterback Aaron Rodgers?
According to Steelers insider Gerry Dulac, of the Post-Gazette, they are hoping to get an answer from the four-time MVP by the beginning of OTAs on May 18. If now, “their patience will start to turn into frustration, and maybe something more.”
Dulac says the Steelers believed Rodgers might announce his return by the Combine and, after that, by the NFL Draft.
Of course, neither of those happened.
Last year, it was fans that were upset with the lack of an answer from Rodgers, but the Steelers always seems cool as a cucumber, knowing something would get done.
But this year seems different.
Were the Steelers told something by Rodgers and are now unsure if he will return.
The talk from Steelers insiders all offseason has been that Rodgers and the Steelers seemed to know what was going to happen and it was only a matter of time.
But, as time keeps passing, it appears the Steelers have become more frustrated and that could turn into downright anger.
