It was previously believed that Cook would be out at least a couple of weeks with a shoulder injury, but Cook returned to practice for the Vikings on Tuesday and was listed as questionable on their final injury report.

Cook was injured in the Vikings Week 12 game against the San Francisco 49ers, being carted off the field after a tackle.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero says that Cook has taken first team reps this week and explained how he was able to return so quickly. He is officially listed as “questionable” for Thursday’s game.

In nine games this season, Cook has 773 yards, averaging 4.5 yards a carry with four touchdowns. He also has 27 catches for 202 yards receiving this season, averaging 7.5 yards a catch.

The Vikings will be without wide receiver Adam Thielen and offensive lineman Christian Darrisaw on Thursday.

Cornerback Camryn Bynum and linebacker Blake Lynch are also listed as questionable to Thursday night.
