According to a report, the Steelers are bringing back offensive lineman B.J. Finney.
A week ago, the Cincinnati Bengals released the 29-year-old center/guard , to save cap space.
Gerry Dulac of the Post-Gazette says that Finney will add depth and could be a replacement for the retired Maurkice Pouncey
Finney played in 59 games for Pittsburgh during his four-year career here.
A life-long Steelers fan, Finney signed with the team as an undrafted rookie free agent after the 2015 draft.
Finney served as a backup center and guard over that time, starting in 13 games.
In the 2020 offseason, Finney signed an $8 million deal with the Seattle Seahawks but only appeared in six games and started none of them before being traded to Cincinnati at the trade deadline last year for defensive end Carlos Dunlap.
Finney only appeared in one game for the Bengals with two special teams snaps.
His knowledge of the offense would be an asset for Pittsburgh in 2021.
