1st time Ravens
It's a first matchup against the Ravens for a number of current Steelers. Their reaction with a rematch coming just a few weeks later.
"When it comes to AFC North football, any divisional game is a rivalry for us," said safety Arthur Maulet. "Every division game is big, but this one is bigger because they are the two teams that run the AFC North."
"I'm excited for it," said Steelers center Mason Cole. "Obviously we played Cincinnati twice and the Browns once. I'm excited to see this and see how it goes."
"Getting acclimated in the AFC North, but to play in a big game like this against the Ravens," said linebacker Myles Jack. "A lot of history in it, it's always fun to play in big games. I'm looking forward to it. What I've been hearing is buckle up your chin straps. It's going to be one of those types of games. I'm excited."
"Yeah, I mean, obviously they're a great team, great opponent," said QB Kenny Pickett. "It's a lot of history in the rivalry. I'm excited to be part of it on Sunday."
"It's the first time I've been able to play the Ravens since I got here," said Steelers guard Kevin Dotson. "My first year I wasn't starting and the next year I was hurt when we got to play them."
Asked if he's excited, he got a big smile and simply said 'yes'.
