PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – You couldn't find an NFL analyst, reporter, former player, talk show host to say anything but the Steelers-Patriots game would hit the under, set at a crazy low 30 points.
New England almost did it by themselves as the teams went over the over in the first 27 minutes of the game.
How it happened:
· New England took the opening drive 75 yards ending with a Bailey Zappe 11-yard touchdown to Zeke Elliott.
· Steelers would answer on a Chris Boswell 56-yard field goal
· After a couple of punt, Jabrill Peppers intercepted Mitch Trubisky in Steelers territory and returned it to the Steelers 11-yard line. Two plays later Zappe his Hunter Henry across the back of the end zone to make it 14-3.
· Zappe would make another magnificent throw to Henry for a 24-yard touchdown and it's 21-3.
· The teams went over the 30 points on a Steelers eight-play, 75-yard drive as Trubisky found Diontae Johnson in the end zone for a 25-yard touchdown.
For the season the Patriots average 12 points a game and the Steelers only 16. They were both ready for prime-time early on Sunday.
