Steelers sign WR Copeland to one-year deal

A few days after the Steelers waived wide receiver Denzel Mims, the team signed another WR.

Jacob Copeland, who was on the Steelers practice squad at time last season, signed a one-year deal on Friday.

Copeland entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent, signing with the Tennessee Titans after the 2023 Draft.

He was released and signed with the Minnesota Vikings during training camp. He was released following camp.

Copeland also spent time during this offseason in Kansas City.

He signed with the Steelers practice squad on September 12 and released on October 3. He re-signed on November 28 and was released a week after that.

He played at Both Maryland and the University of Florida. He had 112 catches for 1,742 yards and 11 touchdowns in college.

Copeland has no regular season NFL experience and is not the big slash signing fans are hoping for at wide receiver.
