The Steelers made a couple roster moves on Tuesday.
Wide receiver Jacob Copeland has been added to the practice squad.
To make room for Copeland, defensive back Jalen Elliott was released.
Copeland was on the Steelers practice squad earlier this season, signing before the Week 2 game against the Cleveland Browns and was released after the team’s Week 4 loss against Houston.
Copeland signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent this past April and was released in early August.
He then signed with the Minnesota Vikings on August 7 and waived on August 29.
Originally playing with Florida in college, Copeland transferred to Maryland posting 422 yards and three touchdowns.
He skipped Maryland’s bowl game after the 2022 season and opted for the NFL Draft instead of playing one more year in college.
