When it comes to the “rowdiest” fan bases in the NFL, the Steelers have one of the best.
According to a new survey by bookies.com, Steeler Nation ranks fifth overall.
According to the over 1,000 people surveyed, Steelers fans are considered too loud.

When it comes to the four in front the Steelers, Eagles fans came in first because they “drink too much”, Buffalo Bills fans are second because of “property damage” (calling all tailgate tables), Cowboys fans follow because of drinking and Raiders fans just edge out the Steelers in fourth by being “too loud.”
Looking around the division, Browns fans are 10th with their rowdiest behavior being too loud, Ravens faithful are 13th and they “get into physical fights” and Bangles fans are 26th and rink too much.
The survey also ranked the rowdiest quarterbacks in the league with Baker Mayfield coming in first. “Mayfield is no stranger to controversy both on and off the field,” the study said.
Maybe somewhat surprisingly, Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger came in second. While Roethlisberger has settled down in recent years, many people still remember his controversial early days in black and gold.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin is considered the 10th rowdiest coach in the NFL with Bill Belichick taking the top spot, followed by Raiders coach Jon Gruden, Lions leader Dan Campbell, the Chiefs’ Andy Reid and Ravens John Harbaugh rounding out the top five.
