
Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby is recovering after surgery.
The team announced on Tuesday that Crosby underwent arthroscopic wrist surgery on Monday.
The surgery was done by Dr. Robert Hotchkiss of Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City along with collaboration with Penguins doctor Dharmesh Vyas and UPMC hand and upper extremity surgery
The surgery won’t keep Crosby out for long with recovery time expected to be around three to four weeks.
It is unknown what caused the injury.
