The Trevor Bauer-Fernando Tatis Jr. rivalry keeps taking new turns.

A day after the Padres star shortstop took the Dodgers ace deep twice in a game and trolled him with his celebrations, Bauer shared a video on Twitter that suggested Tatis was peaking at the catcher’s signs before he hit his second blast of the game.

Bauer, who had no issue with Tatis’ celebrations, tweeted at Tatis, “If you need to know what pitch is coming that badly, just ask daddy nicely next time @tatis_jr. You know I ain’t scared homie.”

Tatis fired back at Bauer on Twitter with yet another epic troll job, writing “tranquilo hijo,” or “calm child.” But what made Tatis’ response awesome was the image he accompanied the tweet with, which showed Tatis holding a child that had a photoshopped image of Bauer pitching with his eye closed onto it.

The Dodgers and Padres will likely be battling it out for NL West supremacy, so surely this is just the beginning of what should be an interesting rivalry to watch the rest of the season.
