(WFAN) MLB on Thursday unveiled the jerseys that the White Sox and Yankees will be wearing on Aug. 12 for the first-ever "Field of Dreams" game in Dyersville, Iowa.
The threads for both teams seemed to be getting mainly positive feedback on Twitter. Here's a look at the White Sox's jerseys, as they'll be the home team.
For the visiting Yankees, MLB kept it simple with their early 20th-century look, keeping the classic road grays while adjusting the font to look more old school.
The MLB at Field of Dreams game kicks off at 6 p.m. on Aug. 12 and will be the first time an MLB regular-season game has been played in the state of Iowa. Tickets are selling for thousands of dollars as fans look for a chance to catch a real game at the site of the classic baseball film "Field of Dreams."
