"I did see Matt Damon on the beach and I had not had a conversation with him, seriously, since we made the film," the “Cinderella” star shared. "That was last summer and it was actually very nice to see him, and his kids, and his wife and it all felt quite middle-aged actually, which was reassuring," she added.

Driver is in a relationship with Addison O’Dea. She has a 13-year-old son, Henry. Damon, 50, married Luciana Borroso in 2005. Together they have four children Alexia, 22, Isabella, 15, Gia, 13, and Stella, 10.

"I feel like so much of the folly of youth went on with our initial relationship, like it was amazing and tabloidy," Driver continued. "So that was nice to just have sort of a middle-aged conversation about the weather and stuff."

The 51-year-old actress recalled her time on set of the iconic film with Damon saying she was “blown away” by his commitment to her as an actor. “He was cute and intelligent and altogether a really charming package. I was young and I fell for him — it's an occupational hazard.”

The actors made several appearances as a couple in 1997. The two ended things when Damon announced he was single on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” Yahoo Entertainment News reports. Driver was seemingly unaware of the breakup at the time.

Damon then went on to date “Stranger Things” actress Winona Ryder.
