Phil Collins, Tony Banks, and Mike Rutherford took the stage as Genesis for their first date together in the States in over a decade on Monday night at Chicago's United Center.
The reunited band played with singer Collins seated front and center for the packed crowd while his son, Nic Collins, filled drumming duties as dad continues to suffer from ongoing health battles stemming from a spinal injury in 2007 which have begun to affect his impeccable percussion skills.

Genesis is currently making stops across the eastern U.S. and Canada celebrating The Last Domino?, following a successful run in the U.K. and Ireland with additional dates added to an already impressive itinerary. The band will then head back overseas to close out the tour with European dates.
Due to phenomenal demand, Genesis will be in Chicago again tonight, November 16, and have also added second dates in Montréal, New York City, Philadelphia, and Boston. Check out the full list of North American dates now and grab your tickets right here.
Just before heading to the States, guitarist Mike Rutherford told USA TODAY, "[Phil]'s done well. Funny enough, we almost got through the (U.K.) tour and I got COVID, but Phil was perfect. He’s doing fine. When you see the show, he definitely holds the crowd." Keyboardist Tony Banks added, "We spent a lot of time thinking about the vocals and slightly changed the emphasis of the set so it’s a bit less instrumental. Nic really plugs the gap very well and the visuals work in a way that a seated Phil isn’t as noticeable."
