Yesterday, Teigen issued a lengthy post apologizing for her past behavior on Twitter. Specifically, Teigen referenced past tweets of hers where she bullied reality TV star Courtney Stodden.

“Hi all. It has been a VERY humbling few weeks,” Teigen began her post. “Not a day, not a single moment has passed where I haven’t felt the crushing weight of regret for the things I’ve said in the past.”

“As you know, a bunch of my old awful (awful, awful) tweets resurfaced,” Teigen wrote. “I’m truly ashamed of them. As I look at them and understand the hurt they caused, I have to stop and wonder: How could I have done that?”

After Teigen posted her apology, some Twitter users began to ponder whether or not her husband, John Legend, was doing ok. Others, well, there were memes.

“I know John Legend going thru it with this whole Chrissy Teigen drama,” one user wrote.

“There is no way Chrissy Teigen is the same woman John Legend be writing these songs about,” another added.
