If I get a text that says: “We need a fourth” I’ll be tearing up the turf like Seabiscuit toward the pickleball court. Caught the bug during Covid and am now completely obsessed with the sport. (Yes, tennis players….pickleball is an actual sport, thankyouverymuch.)

I grew up in Minnesota as a tomboy, so when not pickling (or polishing my paddle) I love to hike, bike, play ping pong, craft, and explore this beautiful back yard called Southern California and beyond. I’ve lived in Minneapolis, Chicago, San Francisco, New York and now LA, and travel’s in my blood. I’ll save you an aisle seat—let’s go!

I also love hosting “The No Stress Express” (since 2008) because I get to play the best music ever made and hang with my Wave family from 12 to 6 every weekday. Interviewing artists, hosting live events, enjoying cultural experiences of all kinds, and meeting Wave listeners face to face is my dream come true. (Someone pinch me. Thanks.)

We all like to give back, so for me it’s endurance events for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The Best Buddies Bike Challenge, and volunteer work for International Medical Corps, The Red Cross, Seeing Eye Dogs of the West, The Salvation Army and St. Joseph’s Indian School.

Fave things: warm cinnamon rolls, crispy rice cakes with spicy tuna, an evening dip in a pool—any pool!-- live concerts under the stars, baking my gramma’s apple crisp, and a slowjam from Teddy P with a glass of wine and my feet up. Doesn’t get better than that.
