
A 28-year-old woman who was killed when the silver sedan she was riding in struck a pole in Lancaster was identified Tuesday, authorities said.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner's office identified the victim as Madelyn Gonzalez. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash occurred at about 3:15 a.m. Saturday at Division Street and Lancaster Boulevard, according to Detective Jorge Diaz of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Lancaster station.
The sedan was going north on Division Street when it left the roadway and crashed into a pole at Lancaster Boulevard, Diaz said.
The driver of the silver sedan was also injured in the crash and was taken to Antelope Valley Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.
