Pop superstar Taylor Swift's endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris has motivated over 300,000 fans to visit Vote.gov, according to the General Services Administration (GSA).
After the debate between Harris and former President Donald Trump on Tuesday, Swift shared her decision publicly on Instagram.
"I'm voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes that need a strong advocate," the Grammy-winning artist wrote. "I believe she is a calm, skilled leader, and I’m confident this country can achieve more under steady leadership instead of chaos. I was especially encouraged by her choice of running mate @timwalz, who has long defended LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman's right to choose."
