During the recent Los Angeles premiere of her new music video for "I Drink Wine,” Adele revealed what her ideal post-residency agenda would be, during a Q&A session with fans.

Instead of let's say, working on her next album, the singer-songwriter intends to get a degree in English literature. Noting, “If I hadn’t made it in my singing, I think I would definitely be a teacher. I think I’d be an English lit teacher," Adele said at the event.

Planning to swap the stage for studies, Adele revealed to her fans that she plans to pursue a degree in 2025 after completing her highly anticipated Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, which after being postponed, finally begins in November.

“I really want to get a degree in English Literature," Adele said, adding "I wish I had gone to university, I wish I’d had that experience.”

Other non-musical plans Adele has for her future includes acting. Sharing with the crowd that she reached out to Elvis director Baz Luhrmann to express her love for the film and desire to work with him.

“I sent him a text saying, ‘I wish I was in this movie, please don’t retire, let me do something,'" she said. "But I wouldn’t sing in it," she added. "I would act, but only one movie. I’d come, do one movie, nail it, and f*** off."
