One person was critically injured when an Amtrak train struck a car in Camarillo Tuesday morning.
It was reported at the railroad crossing at Las Posas and Upland Road.
According to the Ventura County Fire Department, an Amtrak Surfliner was traveling north when it struck the vehicle.
A critically injured person inside the car had to be extricated and was taken to the hospital via helicopter.
No injuries were reported on the train.
