A shooting at El Dorado Park in Lancaster left a teenage boy dead, and an investigation was underway Tuesday.

Authorities were sent to the 44500 block of Fifth Street East about 8:35 p.m. Monday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The male, reportedly in his teens, died at the scene. Information was not immediately available on his identity.
