The brother of slain “General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor reflected on the moment he learned there were arrests made in his brother’s murder.
“Yeah, when I heard they had nabbed four suspects, I was pretty stoked, to be honest with you,” Lance Wactor told KNX News’ Jon Baird. “I didn't expect to hear that especially this soon. “So, it was actually kind of awesome.”

He added he was also surprised by the news.
“I had a little bit of a pessimistic view on how long this was gonna take, to be honest with you, and also I don't have a whole lot of faith in the state of California and L.A. in particular,” he said.
On Monday, Robert Barceleau, Sergio Estrada, Leonel Gutierrez, and Frank Olano were charged in Wactor’s shooting death. Barceleau and Estrada were both charged with murder; however, Barceleau was given a special circumstance allegation of killing in the commission of a robbery. L.A. County DA George Gascón named Barceleau as the alleged gunman and said if convicted, he faces life in prison without parole.
Despite the charges, the family and friends of Wactor said it wasn’t enough as they wanted gang enhancements.
“We were definitely disappointed with that because we know that the penalties are a lot harsher and we don't want these guys getting out of jail, given all their criminal history,” Lance said. “It's not like these guys were ever gonna stop living the way that they were living and having them off the street is better for everybody.”
Barceleau is being held without bail while Estrada is being on over $2 million bail. Meanwhile, Olano is being held on $1.08 million and Gutierrez is being held on $120,000 bail.
