Two of the four suspects arrested in the death of actor Johnny Wactor have been charged with murder.

Charges were announced Monday for the four suspects. Robert Barceleau, 18, and Sergio Estrada, 18, were both charged with murder; however, Barceleau had a special circumstance allegation of killing in the commission of a robbery, according to City News Service. Estrada did not have a special circumstance allegation.

Barceleau and Estrada were both also charged with attempted robbery and grand theft, both while armed with a firearm.

Leonel Gutierrez, 18, was charged with attempted robbery and grand theft by embezzlement, both while armed. Frank Olano, 22, was charged with being an accessory after the fact to the killing, along with receiving stolen property and three counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Hours prior to the charges being announced, friends and family of the “General Hospital” actor gathered outside a downtown L.A. courthouse. Micah Parker, Wactor’s friend, laid out the charges they’re seeking against the four suspects.

“In this case, we're asking for an example to be made,” he said. “We want the big gun enhancement as the use of this gun resulted in death. We want the gang enhancement charges which would carry vicarious gun liability so the gun enhancement can be applied to all three suspects present at Johnny's murder. And we asked for a special circumstance to be applied in order for this to be elevated to first degree murder charges.”

Wactor’s friends added that if Gascón doesn’t serve justice, they’ll be asking federal prosecutors to do it.

Wactor was shot and killed in downtown L.A. May 25. On Aug. 15, four men were arrested in Wactor’s death.
