Permanent changes to Metro bus services in Los Angeles are set to go into effect on Sunday.
The changes are based on feedback from riders and operators. The goal is to reduce wait times at the bus stop. Joseph Forgiarini, with L.A. Metro, told KNX News’ Nataly Tavidian changes are typically done twice a year - June and December.
“So, for this particular service change, it's all bus-related. There are no changes to our rail network, no permanent updates there,” he said. “So it's all about bus and it's all about really our focus on frequency of service and our reliability.”

One of the biggest improvements is the extension of the bus lines from Hollywood to Glendale. There will also be changes in how frequently the buses run. Some rides that are typically a 15 minute wait will now be a 10-minute wait. The changes are across South Bay, South L.A., San Fernando Valley, and the West side.
The changes for Metro are posted on their website and apps.
