Mayor Eric Garcetti anounced the city-run vaccination sites will offer more than 90,000 vaccine doses to the public this week.

That includes 75,000 first doses and 16,000 second doses.

On April 1, the city will also expand eligibility to age 50 and over.

The doses will be available through the city's mobile outreach program to South LA, East LA, downtown LA, and parts of the Valley, and the city-run sites that include San Fernando Park, Hansen Dam, Crenshaw Christian Center, Lincoln Park, Pierce College, USC University Park, and Dodger Stadium. These sites will be open this week from Tuesday through Saturday between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Every person who gets vaccinated is helping Los Angeles take one more critical step towards ending the pandemic,” said Mayor Garcetti in a press release. “The more vaccine supply we receive, the sooner we are able to get those doses into the arms of Angelenos safely and quickly. If you are 50 or older, this week it will be time for you to roll up your sleeve and get vaccinated, so we can get our lives back to normal.”

This week, Los Angeles is expected to receive 42,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine, 27,000 of Pfizer, and 22,000 of Johnson and Johnson.
