On Wednesday, Santa Monica city officials announced five major events leading up to the 2028 Olympics, including a major music festival in the fall.

In June, residents can watch the FIFA 2026 World Cup at The Michelob ULTRA Pitchside Club on Santa Monica Pier. In the fall, Santa Monica will host a large-scale music festival next to the Pier, produced by Goldenvoice, the events company behind Coachella and Stagecoach.
In February 2027, there will be an ESPN fan festival and broadcast on the pier. For the 2028 Summer Olympics, the Annenberg Community Beach House will be transformed into Club France, the official hospitality house of the French Olympic Committee.
