People are gathering across the country, including in Los Angeles, on Friday to demonstrate against the Trump Administration’s immigration enforcement actions and to denounce ICE.

KNX News’ Jon Baird reported that dozens of protestors gathered at the corner of Sunset Blvd. and Beaudry Ave. with a big sign on the corner that said “ICE out of Echo Park.”

“The message today is in solidarity with Minneapolis and with all of the cities across the country that have been under siege by ICE in Echo Park,” one protestor said. “We saw three of our community members kidnapped this week. Three street vendors who were just at work when they were grabbed and beaten up by agents. We know that that number would have been higher if it hadn't been for the networks that folks in L.A. have been building over the last eight months. Networks to be able to alert neighbors, help them pack up, help them get home.”
