First arriving firefighters requested additional engines, SoCal Gas, Southern California Edison crews for downed power lines as well as Environmental Health representatives to mitigate hazards from the burning tires, fire officials said.
The flames spread to a commercial building, a small restaurant, a single-story house and a recreational vehicle, officials said.
No injuries were reported but residents of the house were displaced, fire officials said.
By about 4 a.m., crews had gained the upper hand on the fire and it was declared out by 6:52 a.m.
Four structures were damaged, and one RV was destroyed, according to the fire department.
The Red Cross was helping find shelter for five adults and one child who were displaced.
Animal Control was requested for a dog that had smoke inhalation, but no firefighters or civilians were injured.
