In new court papers, a retired Los Angeles police officer has been accused of secretly taking about 20,000 intimate photos and videos of his former wife, who is also an LAPD officer, and sharing them with fellow officers and online.
The woman filed for divorce from Brady Lamas in February 2022. Lamas pleaded no contest in February 2024 to a misdemeanor charge of distributing a private image to cause emotional distress.
He was ordered to pay restitution, attend a year of sexual compulsive anonymous meetings, perform community labor, and stay away from the plaintiff.
His wife has now filed a second lawsuit, this one in Superior Court, alleging sexual harassment, retaliation, and failure to prevent harassment and retaliation.
That case is set for trial in October.
