BUENA PARK, Calif. (KNX) – Knott’s Berry Farm will reinstate its chaperone policy Saturday.

“Under this policy, all guests ages 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old in order to be admitted to or remain in the park after 4:00 p.m. local time to close,” theme park officials said.

Chaperones must present valid photo identification with date of birth at the ticket entry. One chaperone is allowed to accompany up to 10 guests and must stay inside the park throughout the duration of their visit.

The policy was first enacted last summer after several fights broke out inside the theme park, including one that caused the park to close three hours earlier. Last summer’s policy, however, required chaperones for those 17 years old or younger.

More information regarding the chaperone policy is available here.
