Maggie Interviews Herbert Sigüenza

BroadStage is presenting the L.A. Theatre Works production of A Weekend with Pablo Picasso, which is written and performed by Herbert Sigüenza. I had a chance to catch up with him and hear about his process, inspiration and why this project is close to his heart. You can expect largescale video projections of the art being created in the piece as well as historic images and text, serving to completely immerse audiences in a full, audio- visual experience of Picasso’s life and art. Herbert Siguenza is also a founding member of the Chicanx/Latinx performance group Culture Clash celebrating 36 years in the American theatre.
