Beckham joins a loaded Rams receiving corps with wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods and a Sean McVay offense that features quarterback Matthew Stafford.

There was some initial confusion among the first reports on Thursday that Beckham was signing with the Rams, with other reporters tweeting that they had received texts from the wide receiver that he was deciding between LA and the Green Bay Packers.

Beckham would have likely been a WR2 on the Packers depth chart and get the chance to play with Aaron Rodgers, but the Rams are in all-in mode for a Super Bowl after acquiring Von Miller at the trade deadline.

Miller even posted a screenshot of himself FaceTiming with Beckham about “chasing this ring.”

It is unclear if Beckham will be able to suit up for the Rams' next game, which would come on Monday Night Football against the San Francisco 49ers.

Beckham had became a free agent on Tuesday afternoon after he cleared waivers, which the Cleveland Browns had placed him on after agreeing to a release.

Several teams, including the Saints, Patriots and Chiefs, were rumored to be pursuing Beckham, but the Rams seemed to fly under the radar to pluck the three-time Pro Bowler.

The Browns, meanwhile, will pay Beckham, who was owed $8 million by the Browns this season, $4.25 million the remainder of the season.
