SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – A 23-year-old man has been charged with murder after a brutal attack last week on his father and his father’s family.

Irvin Hernandez Flores is facing two counts of murder, second-degree burglary and child endangerment brought forward by the San Francisco District Attorney's Office.
"This was an extremely horrific premeditated double murder that was committed in the presence of a young girl," said DA Brooke Jenkins in an emailed statement to KCBS Radio on Friday. "As in any case, but most importantly in a case of this magnitude, we charged the defendant according to the law so that we can ensure that there is accountability in this case and protection of the public."
On Saturday last weekend Flores is accused of arriving at the home of his father, Jose Hernandez, 47, just before 3 a.m. with a gun, according to reporting by the San Francisco Chronicle.
According to a release issued by the San Francisco Police Department, officers responded to a welfare check at 2:45 a.m. to a house at 1100 block of Ingerson Ave. in the Bayview district.
On the scene, officers located Hernandez and another victim, identified by the Chronicle as Flores’ stepmother, Yesenia Soto, 41, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Despite medical intervention from officers and medics on the scene at later at a nearby hospital, both succumbed to their injuries.
Flores committed the entire attack in front of their 11-year-old daughter, the paper reported.
And, immediately afterward, he, "'Facebook Live' videotaped himself," according to an emailed statement from the DA's Office. "In this video, the defendant appears proud and happy with himself, all while you can clearly see his father laying in a pool of blood, and his step-mother slowly dying from her multiple gunshot wounds."
Flores has been booked into San Francisco County jail. He's slated to appear in court on Aug. 25, according to the paper.
