Crypto.com—the new naming rights holders of the venue—got a jump start on the name change of the facility, which officially goes into effect on Saturday (Christmas Day), when the Lakers host the Brooklyn Nets.

The signage project is expected to be completed in its entirety next summer.

Crews replaced posters inside the arena’s backstage tunnel, according to KTLA. Aisle signs have all reportedly been swapped from red to blue.

The cryptocurrency site’s leadership anticipates the change being a catalyst for solidifying the future of its industry.

“In the next few years, people will look back at this moment as the moment when crypto crossed the chasm into the mainstream,” Hong Kong-based CEO Kris Marszalek said. “This is in line with our ambition to be a top brand in the coming years, next to Nike and Apple.”
