The man who lives in the house told CBS LA he and nearly everyone inside thought it was an earthquake.
“But my roommate, who lives on the wall that got hit, he’s the one who felt it first because the car actually hit his wall and broke through,” the man said.
The suspect, identified as 32-year-old Vidal Cruz Jr., had his injuries treated at a hospital before being booked on suspicion of two counts of murder, NBC 4 reported.
His bail has been set at $4 million.
