The "Minecraft" movie has been doing very well, but the crowds haven't been all that well-behaved. There's been increased rowdiness during certain scenes, specifically ones with Jack Black. So, Jack showed up unannounced at a viewing of "A Minecraft Movie" to tell the crowd, "No throwing popcorn! And absolutely no chicken jockeys!" When the crowd (mostly 12-year-old boys, it seemed) realized it was Jack, they went wild. That's not exactly how you go about settling down a crowd.
Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas romance rumors just won't die, and maybe because the two keep being spotted together. Talk about the two being an item first started after they were spotted grabbing dinner together around Valentine's Day, and then they were spotted at a heliport in London last month. Now they've been spotted once again flying in from Madrid. There was no PDA, and sources are speculating it's all work-related, with Tom trying to talk Ana into Doug Liman's upcoming film, "Deeper."
A reboot for "The Bodyguard," is in the works. The film originally starred Whitney Houston opposite Kevin Costner. Now, there's talk as to who will star in the role Whitney made famous. Tyra Banks was on "Jenna & Friends" yesterday, and Tyra suggested, "I think Taylor Swift, because business, commerce, art, and she would frickin' sell like crazy." Tyra's idea, however, is to flip the white man / black woman dynamic adding, "What if we flipped it, and it was Taylor Swift and Idris Elba?" Side note: Sam Wrench, who directed Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour" film, is directing the reboot.
Oscar winner Adrien Brody celebrated his 52nd birthday by adopting a new puppy named Laszlo. The pup was named after Adrien's character in "The Brutalist." He explained, "We adopted little László from a shelter in Alabama when no one wanted him. Yeah, how could no one want this cute little thing?" Happy birthday, Adrien, and happy gotcha day, Laszlo!
