Gene Hackman's death now being looked at as suspicious

The deaths of Gene Hackman, his wife, and one of their dogs is now being considered "suspicious enough" to warrant further investigation. Though the cause of death is currently "unknown," police say there's no evidence of a gas or CO2 leak. On top of that, there was an unlocked door, the dog was found dead in a bathroom closet, Betsy was found on the bathroom floor near the scattered pills and a space heater, which had been moved, and Gene was reportedly found in a mud room near the kitchen. Based on the stages of decomposition, it appeared it had been weeks since their passings. Two workers discovered them.The coroner's office expects to determine the cause of death within a month.

Travis Kelce has apparently confirmed he will not retire after 12 years in the NFL, saying, "I'm coming back, for sure," adding that he's determined to get in the "best shape" of his life and "get back to the mountaintop." He admitted he "Got a real bad taste in my mouth with how I played in that last game and how I got the guys ready for battle. I can't go out like that."


"Today" show host Jenna Bush Hager has fans wondering if her marriage is okay since she was on television without her wedding band. On Wednesday's "Today With Jenna & Friends," Jenna explained, "I'm not wearing [a wedding ring] now because I broke my finger," adding, "But don't worry, I've seen some of the comments; Henry and I are still very happily married."

On Thursday, Sarah Michelle Gellar, 47, paid tribute to Michelle Trachtenberg, who played her sister on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," revisiting what Buffy said to Dawn before sacrificing herself to save the world at the end of season 5. SMG wrote, "Michelle, listen to me. Listen. I love you. I will always love you. The hardest thing in this world, is to live in it. I will be brave. I will live… for you." Alyson Hannigan, who played Willow, James Marsters, who played Spike, and Emma Caulfield, who starred as Anya, all posted messages of love for Michelle as well. There had been talk of a BtVS reboot, but with Michelle's passing, that may be on pause for now.

Matthew Lawrence, who starred with Reynolds in "Boltneck," said Reynolds had "creative differences" issues with the producers and directors of the movie. He explained, "(Reynolds would) walk out — just kind of wanted to do his thing, and the producers would get really upset." In reference to his acting style, "They even told him, 'Ryan, this is a bad Jim Carrey impersonation. This is not what we hired you to do. You can't impersonate somebody. You gotta do your own thing.'" Ryan didn't like that feedback and kept being difficult. Matthew admitted that even though that was his experience with Ryan back then, "He obviously matured as a human being."
