Meghan Markle is using her platform to help wildfire victims and even made a teen's day with a special gift from Billie Eilish. She posted on Instagram about meeting a 15-year-old girl in Altadena, California whose home had burned down and learning that all she wanted back was her T-shirt from Billie Eilish's recent concert. She said she told the girl, "I don't know Billie Eilish but I'm going to figure out how to get you this shirt," and she did, exhausting all of her celebrity connections until a package arrived with clothes, a signed album, and a lunchbox from Billie. She posted, "Huge thank you, Billie Eilish, this is going to mean so much to her," also giving a shout-out to Adam Levine and his wife Behati Prinsloo who "helped get this over the line."
Travis Kelce dodged a question asking if he would propose to Taylor Swift at the Big Game during a press conference, joking, "Wouldn't you like to know"? Taylor is expected to be in his game suite for the Big Game, and betting companies are offering odds on whether or not Travis will propose during the big game - 17% of fans think Travis Kelce will, and another 24% believe he'll only propose if Kansas wins.
Ariana Grande opened up about writing and recording her album "Thank U, Next" in just two weeks as a form of therapy. At the time, Ariana was processing the loss of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, who passed away in 2018, her public split from ex-fiancé Pete Davidson, and the deadly terrorist attack at her Manchester concert. She told her label that the "Thank U, Next" album was "a means of survival" and she didn't care about her previous album being overshadowed by a new release just months later. She told them, "I don't really care about the formula… this is what I need for my soul," and the end, "Thank U, Next" spent two weeks atop the Billboard 200, with the title track dominating the Billboard Hot 100 at number one for a total of seven weeks.
Meryl Streep has been named the best actress of all time by "The Top Tens." Scarlett Johansson, Emma Watson, Angelina Jolie, and Jodie Foster round out the top five. They say Meryl has been dubbed "the best actress of her generation," adding that she's "particularly known for her versatility in her roles, transformation into the characters she plays, and her accent adaptation." Some of Meryl's credits include "The Devil Wears Prada," "Mamma Mia," "Death Becomes Her," among many more.
Sandra Bullock is warning her fans of social media scams using her name to deceive fans. She emphasized, "Please be aware that I do not participate in any form of social media. Any accounts pretending to be me or anyone associated with me are fake accounts and have been created for financial gain or to exploit people around me."
