Cynthia Erivo has another dream role in mind after Wicked
Jennifer Garner was working with the World Central Kitchen and feeding the survivors of the Palisades fire when she told reporters, "I did lose a friend. And for our church, it's really tender. So, I don't feel like I should talk about her yet. But yeah, I did lose a friend who did not get out on time." It's the loss of her friend and the fact that her home has been spared that giver her survivor's guilt. She said, "I feel almost guilty walking through my house. What can I do? How can I help?"
The FBI and police were outside Ben Affleck's Brentwood home, but the reason had nothing to do with Ben at all. It was part of an investigation into unauthorized drone activity during the Los Angeles fires, and they were apparently looking for potential camera footage of a private drone that damaged a firefighting aircraft recently.
Bridget Moynahan from Longmeadow ("Blue Bloods," "Sex and the City," "I, Robot") has been honored with the 2025 John F. Kennedy National Award by the St. Patrick's Committee of Holyoke for her efforts in underprivileged communities, and her pride in her Irish heritage. Bridget is a spokesperson for The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, which helps bring community to children with chronic illnesses, and she is an ambassador for an organization called Global Citizens, which works to end worldwide poverty and uplift intersectional equity, according to WWLP.
Cynthia Erivo got the role of a lifetime starring as Elphiba in "Wicked," but she really wants to be one of the "X-Men." She said, "I really want to play Storm. I know it sounds frivolous but I don't think we've uncovered how grand she is and all of the inner turmoil that she has." There is talk that at least some of the X-Men will be making their debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2027's "Avengers: Secret Wars," so maybe there's a chance her dream will come true.
After months of speculation, it's official: Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson have split. She told People, "Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage. Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them" The couple married in July 2014 and share three children - daughters Maxwell "Maxi" Drew, 12, and Birdie Mae, 5, and son Ace Knute, 11.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes announced their daughter, Golden Raye Mahomes, was born January 12th. Brittany was induced to coincide with the Chiefs' bye week before the NFL playoffs. Can't have daddy distracted on the field while mommy's in a hospital pushing.
