A Real Housewife is suing for $20 million
On "Good Morning America," Jennifer Love Hewitt shared how special it is to pass the baton on to the new cast of "I Know What You Did Last Summer." It sounds like this may be her last one, though she's super appreciative of how much the fans wanted her to be a part of it.
Brit Eady has filed a $20 million lawsuit against Bravo, NBC, and production companies behind "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" over an incident in episode five of Season 16 where Kenya Moore was supposedly showing naughty pics of Brit. Brit says she never saw the photo until after the episode aired and that the network "refused" to show it to her in advance. Kenya was suspended and later left the show, but Brit is holding the companies accountable for creating a hostile work environment and enabling sexual harassment. Brit wants the episode gone, a public statement saying the episode shared a false depiction of her, and monetary compensation.
On "The Today Show," Cynthia Erivo teased "Wicked: For Good" will be a "more mature" movie than the first part. She talked about how both the main characters are out of school and have developed their own personas which ultimately end up clashing.
Jared Leto is denying a wave of sexual misconduct allegations brought by nine women, including claims involving underage victims. His rep has denied and is pushing back on every accusation so far. Despite the allegations, Jared has not been formally charged with any crimes and has remained silent about the accusations.
Miley Cyrus revealed that she "wasn't allowed" to sing any "Hannah Montana" songs after leaving Disney in 2011. She explained, "It's not like I wanted to…but it was still sad knowing those songs have my voice, my face, and I wasn't allowed to sing them." "Hannah Montana" aired for 100 episodes from 2006 to 2011. But now, since Miley was named a Disney Legend last year, she was given permission to perform those songs. It doesn't mean we should expect to hear them at her next concert, though the songs do have millions of views on YouTube… This is her chance to give her fans the "best of both worlds."
