People Magazine's 2024 Sexiest Man Alive is John Krasinski, but there's a rumor he wasn't first choice. Sources are saying Glen Powell from "Twisters" and "Anyone but You" and Pedro Pascal from "Game of Thrones" and "The Last of Us" were asked to accept the award, but they both turned it down.
According to one source, being Sexiest Man alive wasn't important to either of them at this point in their careers as "Glen wants to make more of an impact in acting now that he is finally getting amazing roles and becoming more of a star, and Pedro doesn't feel like it was ever something he wanted to entertain. He sees the gimmick of it all and though there is a flattery to it, his ego doesn't need it."

Denzel Washington, now 69, said he is retiring from Hollywood. He explained, "I don't know how many more films I'm going to make. Probably not that many… I'm about to play Othello at 70. After that I'm playing Hannibal. After that, I've been talking with Steve McQueen about a film. After that Ryan Coogler's writing a part for me in the next 'Black Panther.' After that, I'm going to do 'King Lear.' After that, I'm going to retire." That doesn't really sound like retirement, does it?
