On "The Kelly Clarkson Show," Dwayne Johnson opened up about a tough time he was going through 10 years ago when he stumbled upon an unknown artist who turned out to be… Jelly Roll. Dwayne shared the Jelly Roll's music helped him get through that really hard time, and he shared one lyric in particular from his song "Only" that has helped him through a really tough time.
"The Voice" Champion Sundance Head is recovering at home after he accidentally shot himself on Friday while hunting alone in the woods at his Texas ranch. His wife said Sundance went to grab a gun out of his car when it slipped out of the holster, hit the outside of the jeep and went off. The bullet went in just above his belly button and got lodged in his fatty tissue. According to TMZ, she said the doctors are leaving it inside, though she doesn't know why. She said we should hear from him soon, explaining, "He's definitely going to have a lot to say and once he feels up to it I'll have him do a video in his own words. Y'all know he has a way with words and know he won't just have a song to write but an entire album of this accident."
"The Golden Bachelorette," Joan Vassos, has chosen her man, Chock, but she did admit to Jimmy Kimmel that if she had a shot with her celebrity crush, she would have taken it. Who's her crush? Rob Lowe. She met him when she was an extra on the set of "St. Elmo's Fire" and has had a crush on him ever since. Jimmy asked her if she would trade Chock for Rob, she said "Like, in one second." Well, Rob heard about that, and he replied, "I could be the Golden Bachelor. That's better than a Golden Globe! I think..." Rob's wife had a different response; "He is taken 🥰."
Jeff Goldblum and Ariana Grande co-star in "Wicked," but they met a long time ago, even if Jeff doesn't remember. He admitted on "Today" that halfway through the making "Wicked," Ariana told him that they had actually met in NYC once before when she was a little girl. Ariana and her mom waited backstage at the Broadway production of "The Pillowman" to meet Jeff, who starred in the play at the time. There's even an adorable picture of the two of them posing together. Even though it was a moment Ariana would never forget, Jeff confessed he "hadn't remembered that," which seems fair since he was meeting tons of fans every night after the show.
The highly-anticipated fight between YouTuber Jake Paul and Mike Tyson happened on Friday night, and Jake Paul was crowned the winner! He won by unanimous decision after they went eight full rounds that were each two minutes long. Netflix says that the fight was watched by an estimated 60 million households across the globe and peaked at 65 million "concurrent streams." After the fight, according to Jake, he said he went easy on Mike because he could tell Mike was struggling in the ring and there was no need to knock him out.
The USPS announced a new postage stamp honoring Betty White, set to come out next year. The announcement comes almost three years after Betty's death in December of 2021. The stamp celebrates her seven-decade career, with roles on "The Golden Girls," "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," and more, honoring a woman who helped pave the way for women in comedy.
