Home Schooling during coronavirus: How to get started
Nervous about COVID? If you’re anxious over sending your child back to school and online learning isn’t a viable option for your child, you still have another option: home schooling. Parents who are hesitant to send their child back to school can file a notice of intent to homeschool with your local superintendent. Ann Miller, President/Executive Director of Home Educators Association of Virginia says they have seen an increasing number of parents asking about home school options. Ann homeschooled her children for over a decade. She says the Home Educators of Association of Virginia allows parents to share class information, advice and other options for home school students and their families.
