Soweto Gospel Choir is hailed universally by critics and audiences alike as simply “spellbinding” (Glam Adelaide). Touring the U.S. with their new program called “Peace,” the Choir will sing music of Aretha Franklin, Harry Belafonte, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Leonard Cohen and more.

August 18, 2025 at 10:00am US/Eastern through August 22, 2025 at 3:00pm US/EasternFor the Virginia Arts Festival: Soweto Gospel Choir On Air Giveaway Contest, enter between 10:00am (ET) on Monday, August 18, 2025, and 3:00pm (ET) on Friday, August 22, 2025, by listening for the cue to call. Caller nine (9) at 757-499-9570 will be selected and upon verification, will receive two (2) tickets to see Soweto Gospel Choir at the Ferguson Center for the Arts on October 12, 2025, or October 14, 2025, valued at $65 per ticket, sponsored by Virginia Arts Festival.
