LISTEN NOW: Jeezy talks fighting through depression and anxiety

"I'm still healing" Jeezy admits, "it was a lot of stuff that I thought that I dealt with but not really."

Mentioning that he has had to heal from "so much trauma," he revealed that during the time he released his first three albums and two mixtapes, he was actually the most depressed he's ever been.

At the time, he didn't have the vocabulary to describe what he was going through, but as he started to "do the work," he was introduced to what anxiety and depression look like and realized that he had been struggling with both for awhile. While writing his book, he often had those "aha" moments. "It was just like ohh, that's why I react like that," he said.

To listeners and readers, Jeezy hopes that "people who run into those road blocks" can utilize his memoir as a means to help them push past their adversities.
